日本語の ヴィデオです

Today I rewatched a little bit of the anime, Death Note. I did this because I have a class project for one of my classes that is about a piece of media that addresses themes of justice, morality, and happiness, and I thought Death Note provides a commentary on that topic greatly. It’s interesting that while the whole story takes place in Japan essentially, one of light’s first words is a quote in English, and the story as a whole uses Christian artwork and Christian Gregorian chant and music to establish its literary Motifs. The story as a whole is deeply interesting and I can’t wait to keep watching.

Here’s a link to the opening theme of the Anime. You can clearly see the Christian themes and parodies in the visuals of the Anime’s opening.

Until next time,
