Post #4 (Assignment #5): Video watching post #2

こんにちわ!

(spoilers for any OP fans not caught up with the anime or manga)

So, we're back at it with another video-watching post and since the One Piece anime is still airing, I have decided to watch this week's episode release. This week was the reveal of the main body of Vega punk and another huge lore drop. It was cool seeing how I actually understood some of the words in the episode and how some of the characters kept repeating phrases. "Tasukete" was something that I heard a lot as some of the action sequences were going on, and i'm pretty sure I heard some of the honorifics that I know in Japanese, like -san. I also remember liking the first theme song of this current arc a lot as it is really catchy (and beautiful) and the title and some of the lyrics in romaji seem to have a katakana verbalization (and there seems to be a little English in the lyrics too). However, when I tried to sing along with the romaji lyrics I could tell that they were going too fast for my mouth to keep up during some parts... it's almost as though they skipped syllables... or it could have just been my mouth is not fully used to speaking Japanese syllables and words yet and my tongue got twisted (haha). I can't wait to see what goes on in the next episode.

Here is the first theme song for this arc if anybody wants to listen to it.
